Payday bill collector question?

Ok I made arrangements to pay a payday loan bill collector. I really did not come up with the payments he did. Well I could not pay the payments he wanted so I paid like 50 dollars a pay check. he called me at work twice and I told him to stop. I gave him my cell no. he called me on that and I told him that I would pay him 50 untill I paid it off, and he told me to go and make some more payday loans so i could pay this cause it was a hot check, and i would be taken to court, and all. I have researched this and I thold him that It was not a bad check and that it was just like a loan, and that he would take tha 50 bucks a paycheck and that was all I could pay. I also told him to stop telling me that I could be prsecuted for bad check casue that was a crock. He is trying to get me to pay the enitre amount all in once amount. Can I pay the 50 bucks a paycheck or what. This guys is about to drive me crazy.
