How do I make my feet not smell?

I have horrible smell to my feet I mean no over saying it or exaggerating this smells exactly like someone poured a cup of ammonia in my boot I wash my feet daily and put clean socks on and wrap your head around this I put on a BRANd new pair of socks and by the time the 10 hour day is over there are two big holes in each sock one at the heal and one at the tip of my foot on each side its not a cut or rip it looks like my feet burned through the sock no lie its that bad how can I fix this? Also I wear boots that have Gore Tex which is supposed to let moisture out and not water in would this be the issue?
