Having an overseas Wedding and do not want gifts?

Most people have a wishing well or bridal registry. We are having an overseas wedding and want our guests to make their way to the wedding. As the guests are paying their own way flights/accommodation we do not want any gifts - physical or monetary. How do we communiate this?
