Don't you think this is so strange This Girl that I really like from school talks to me more on msn than real?

There is a Girl that I really like from school. We talk more on MSN than in real life. For example, today the only time we ever spoke to each other was when we said hi in embly. For the rest of the day whenever we had free time e.g lunch we were petty much in the same place and we never spoke to each other once! Now that I'm at home as soon as I sign in she wants to speak to me. It's mostly her that starts the conversations on msn! I keep thinking that this is really awkward. I've seen her outside school and spoken to her plenty of times before so it's not as if I hardly know her. It's only recently that I have started to like her in a different way. I could go up to her in school because the corridor that we usually hang out in is full of people I know but I don't like some of her friends. She hows more of an interest in me on msn! Do you think that this is strange? She's a really confident person so it's not as though she's too scared to talk to me.
