Can I join the Navy with Asthma?

When I was 12 i was diagnosed with asthma and chronic bronchitis. It's never caused me problems and I spent years in ROTC and did very well. Could I still join despite my health conditions? And what is this "not being able to join if you're flat foot" thing I've heard about in the past? Is that just a rumor?
