I have a recurring disease that keeps coming back. How do i get rid of it?

It's a constant congested nose. Every now and then it get extremely runny. It seems to get worse when I clean my nose with water, the snot factory starts to work overtime. Nasal drops only work for a day and then it's back to normal. And between every few weeks to every few months I get a fever and the flu for a couple days and then back to normal. I'm sick of it always coming back. Please tell me either what it is or how to stop it from repeating itself.
